Hank
Gary
I remembered that I watched the news about B-Koo several years ago in TVB, noting that a pilot would like to build a mini plane in Hong Kong as an amateur builder. However, he did not have enough space to place the plane, he started seeking help from some schools. The news I watched before was about he finally could settle the plane in a school’s art room with the consent of the school’s principal. The students of the school could volunteer to help construct the plane also. It’s several years ago.
Days before, when I read the newspaper in the morning as usual, I saw him again, while time flies, it’s been seven years away from that small dream ignited. Seven years, he and his teammates have been hanging on the same dream for seven years, and finally they did it. The plane is completed and can fly. The interview with Hank, the pilot who made this dream come true, is truly inspiring. He said, he will only think about how to succeed, he never thinks about failure, as once you think about failures, you won’t even start! He will just tackle a small project every day, if this small project is completed, move to another one. Handle the stuff step by step, tackle the problem one by one. No need to worry too much. He made an example, “A pilot only needs good weather for 4 hours in order to reach the destination, why you have to check 10 hours’ weather? It will only give you an excuse for not to fly.” Any step is a step, there is no perfection. We can accept imperfection and keep moving forward.
So inspiring act and dream.
Safe trip!
