It’s the journey, not the destination

Dan Millman: Life has just three rules?
Socrates: And you already know them…
Dan: Paradox, humour, and change.
Socrates: Paradox…
Dan: Life is a mystery. Don’t waste time trying to figure it out.
Socrates: Humour…
Dan: Keep a sense of humour, especially about yourself. It is a strength beyond all measure.
Socrates: Change…
Dan: Know that nothing stays the same.

Dan: The journey is what brings us happiness… not the destination

Oh Yeah
Oh Yeah
一切都要感覺 it’s so 絕
一刻不知不覺 it’s so 絕

Oh Yeah
Oh Yeah
一切都要感覺 it’s so 絕
一刻不知不覺 it’s so 絕

Now honestly I don’t mess around
When there comes a time, I’ll do things my way
I’m a little bit of hot and cold
A little right and wrong
And that’s just how I like it, live it, love it, make it
All the little things that come with life like it should……
Nothing they can say can bring me down, c’mon…..

Oh Yeah
Oh Yeah
Oh Yeah
一切都要感覺 it’s so 絕
一刻不知不覺 it’s so 絕

But the odd thing is, and this is life, isn’t it?

O: Do you regret that he can’t be a part of this success?

J.K.R: Well, the estrangement happened post-success, so he was there for a while. I regret much more that my mother never saw any of it. That’s a bit of a killer. I can honestly say I know 100 percent she would have adored it.

O: You started writing before she passed.

J.K.R: But I never told her about it. Six months before she died, I started writing, and I never shared it with her.

O:You regret that?

J.K.R: Hugely. But the odd thing is, and this is life, isn’t it, the books wouldn’t be what they are if she hadn’t died. I mean, her death is on virtually every other page of the Harry Potter books. At least half of Harry’s journey is a journey to deal with death in its many forms. The books are what they are because I loved her and she died.
